It's what I do. I've been drawing since age three and am going strong. From frolicking foods to a lemon slice moon, I choose a multitude of subjects to illustrate and work with a variety of mediums, both digital and traditional, including watercolor, acrylic, pencils and ink. I like to think I can put whimsy into anything. Eyes and a smile can make the everyday jump up and dance.
As my portfolio has grown and diversified over the years, I've created a number of commissioned works, including picture book illustration for local authors, a coloring book, and illustrated covers for a local newspaper's holiday supplements. I have designed signs, brochures and catalogs for local businesses and non-profit organizations and even had my illustration selected by public radio station WFCR for their annual fundraising mug.
In addition to commercial design and illustration, I enjoy illustrating poetry, fiction and the occasional comic, to name only a few. My art is available on note cards, full-color prints, bookmarks and more.
