Madsahara Winter 2021 Updates

Greetings art friends!

Well… 2020 was quite a year, to say the very least. I hope everyone is staying safe, healthy, and able to provide support for one other. It is my hope that 2021 (and onward) goes in a better direction, and we’ll all be able visit again soon!

Some good things that happened last year:

Greenfield Electrical Box

I had a great time painting an electrical box in Greenfield last fall! It’s located at the intersection of Loomis Rd and the French King Hwy. Keep an eye out next time you drive by! Special thanks to the Greenfield Recreation Department for this delightful opportunity.

Landscape Commission

I had the honor of completing this beautiful landscape for a home in Gill, MA, using reclaimed wood from their barn! I’m so excited about how this came out. If you’re interested in a unique art piece for your home, please contact me!

A snowy illustration for The Thoreau Society

Here’s a commission I worked on last spring for the The Thoreau Society Bulletin, based on a quote from Henry David Thoreau:
“I frequently tramped eight or ten miles through the deepest snow to keep an appointment with a beech-tree, or a yellow-birch, or an old acquaintance among the pines…”

Studio move!

On New Years, I packed up my art studio at Hope Street in Greenfield and headed off to Sunderland! For safety during COVID, I won’t be hosting any events, but if you would like to set up an appointment to see the new space, please get in touch!
